Coupe;
These are just a few ideas to toss around and consider maybe even get responses from the other guys. In no way am I trying to undermine you or cause a problem. Most of us just want the race night to pass along easier.
First idea is to try to get some qualifications over during the week, like say maybe after Thursday. Whenever some is on in forza and they see you or nightman they could jump in the room and run a 4 lap race for qualy. Alot of us race with both of you during the week so it would be easy for us to qualify. This way we would only have to get a few in on race night and we wouldn't be waiting so long and jumping room to room and private chatting.
Second idea is to have a one lap race and save replay to check telemetry to see if there are tunes on any car. I'm not sure if this will work, but that would save a ton of time if possible. The only thing you couldn't know is the upgrades they have on, but those all should be corrected now with your tech. inspection. If if the one lap race doesn't work just have everyone after the race send their car to you and you could take a day or two to inspect them and dole out any penalties.
Third, Most of us need too know the heat race track so we can practice. This is the most important part of qualifications as it is the factor in which we make either the A-main or B. I know you said before you don't always know the track but you should be able to decide a week in advance and either post it or tell everyone at Sunday nights race. This is very important to me as I don't qualify well.
Fourth, this isn't an idea but an observation, People are jumping starts. They are not passing before the finish line but very soon thereafter. These jumpers know where the restart line is and throttle early. My idea is to put it in the hands of the first driver. give him a spot on the track where he's able to restart and the finish line and let him choose when to start the field. This way no one can jump and pass two cars before turn one.
I would like to see these idea's addressed and not dismissed. If they don't work or are not feasible then thats that. All we really want is good clean legit racing that doesn't take all night. Some of us have to wake early in the eastern time zone and go to work.
Thanks Brandit.........
