After speaking with a source close to Microsoft, GameSpot can confirm that Forza MotorSport 3 is currently in development. Set for release sometime next year, the racer will continue Microsoft's highly customizable racing series after Forza 2's commercial and critical success on the Xbox 360. The first Forza was released for the original Xbox in 2005 to similar raves from reviewers.
GameSpot's source would not go into further detail, saying only that the game was several months into development and would be "massive." However, more information on the game may have appeared as part of a huge information leak sourced to market research group Intellisponse.
Though Intellisponse and Microsoft are declining to comment, a series of documents attributed to it on the NeoGAF forums appear to outline a Mii-like avatar system for Xbox Live and a new 360 motion-sensing Karaoke game. They also appear to reveal exactly how massive Forza 3 is, saying that "due to the number of cars and tracks, the game will be sold as a two-disc set."
How many cars and tracks will Forza 3 boast? According to the documents, the game will sport more than 100 tracks and over 400 cars with "near-limitless customization options for car tuning and custom artwork." The documents also promise the game will introduce several new racing modes--drag, drift, oval, point-to-point--as well as new online community features.

they need to be careful, dont make it too stupid, just what ever they do, do not change the driving physics, as far as car handling, i mean as far as going to a game like NFS, or whatever, as long as they keep it near the same thing, and keep the graphics right where they are at, all i want is a auction house like ebay, more tracks, more cars, and more options to upgrade things on the cars, add in more options in the paint, and make it so the damn muscle cars actually drive like they should.
if they can do all that i will pay whatever it takes to get it.

I don't see them changein the physics becauses its the best selling racer on the 360.
What i want is more tracks like give me all the ones in there now and give me say all the champ car and alms tracks and i'd be happy
Car wise i just want more american cars frig and not the same dam car over.If your going to put 30 corvettes in the game make a 52,68,64,68 etc diff years so you actully get something different
I want 12-16 online as that'd help alot
They need way more paint colors and to be able to zoom in as close as you want on the paint n be able to go around the car freely and same with the parts when buyin them i wanna check what the rims look like from diff angels
The auction house they just need to make it so you can enter a bid amount you want like the poker game just hold the right trigger and it puts the money you want till it stops
muscle cars i don't mind just frig they need to handel better
For online they need to make force no upgrades/tunnings a seperate options and they should let you be able to save a custom game type if you want like example for leagues

Next Forza Game Taking a New Route?
By volcomkidd911 • July 10, 2008 I was on Neogaf today and came across a post made by Community Manager Che Chou that said this: “A large part of why I’m gunshy about hyping anything right now is because we’re technically submerging PR-wise, and knee-deep in production on our next project. Yeah, I throw hints out there and get excited about our progress but at the end of the day, I can’t say much. But if you like monster trucks and helicopters, you’re going to love it.” Then in the Forza Motorsport forums he says “Not everything I posted is a fabrication. There is a nugget of truth buried in there.” Could this be just a small feature like being in a helicopter when spectating a race or a whole new direction for the series?"
the Helicopter thing I can easily understand, simply a new camera angle...but the monster truck?
