Love these topics as they useally get alot of posts
I gotta ask what'd eddy think was a real rc?Don't tell me the plastic junk you buy at wal mart?
watchin these videos made me realize how much i missed raceing these things, those buggeys thought are the hardest dam things to drive. There just crazy
Hope to one day race at the snowbirds.I was on my way there afew years back as i had one of the big time guys watchin me as a upcomer but then money became a problem for abit so i had to stop racing the electric stuff for awhile.
Whats great is you don't need the newest stuff out there to win races.I won my first race in the B main at a big event in ontario afew years back(there was a E main and i was still new) and was running a 20 year old frame and 10 year old tires and the raido was a peice of crap that did'nt work properly from when my dad raced back in his days.I'll never forget that because as i crossed the line on the last lap the frame broke in half from one of the lapped down cars hitting me afew laps befor really hard and car would'nt move another inch after that so i lucked out

no i dont care if you change it. eddy was wonder what a good one looked like as he has not seen a fast one run, so i figured i would post it, its a bad ass hobby to get into. lot of fun, and it takes alot of patience and endurance and good reaction time to get it down.
im thinking about getting into it again, not seriously like i was, not yet anyways, im going at it blind like i am just starting in the hobby again, i have no parts and no cars, and nothing at all, just tools. and now i dont have sponsorship backing to help out with the tab on the season.
so im hoping if i get into it again, i can make a good showing and pick up sponsors again. im probably going to be picking up a losi xxxt cr from a buddy of mine, and some electronics as well from him, i need to pick up a radio from another friend, he has the same one i had when i got out of it, which was a airtronics M8. just need to find a speed control and some other items, need a battery charger for the lithium packs.
i dont want to spend alot of money on it, as the camaro still needs some work done to it. ran it at the strip and it ran good but it had some problems.

yeah i know i was just saying cause some times people freak lawlz
Yeah thats why i was asking as most people when you say rc car they think that plastic s*** you buy at wal mart is the "good stuff" then when i take mine out there mouth just drops hahaha
Oh yeah i know its awsome to get into just really hard.Yeah the patience is the hard part with the hobby thats forsure cause it could take forever to get running good and learning the lines speeds etc its hard to get everythin down.I know when i started oval track racing in the nascar series in ontario it took me forever to learn how to get around the track properally well not forever but took awhile as you gotta be so smooth and keep the rythem and if you lose that your screwed for afew laps and you get laps down so fast
yeah thats pretty much what i'm doing also i got into it big awhile back then money became a issue so had to stop like i said but i'm slowly getting back into it.Actully going to run my buggey i posted on a track for the first time in ottawa on the weekend,Can take some vids if anyone wants me too also. What i really wanna run is the dirt tracks with the sprint cars/modifieds but theres none around here who race that you pretty much only got outdoor touring car or indoor touring car.All the good tracks and ones i race at are like 2+ hours away it sucks
Yeah the stuffs expensive thats why i use ebay can useally find some deals hell i picked up 3 cars last month new in the box for 100$ and they retail for 300 each haha

I'm still in the run down part its not on full motor or anything yet but hopefully will be able to do that tommorow well saturday.
We finally got it running good last time but then i fliped it as i did'nt expect it to hook into the dirt so much and something with the steering came loose and the throtle stuck open and almost went into a river thank god it did'nt as it hit a rock near it and stoped
