dude I totally want a jacket! A Jacket will make everything worth while lol
munson, I totally agree. They need to re-extend the warranty. Untill they can prove that the new improvements are working, and there is a very low chance of the console dieing again, then they need to give us another extension.
The thing that shocked me, was my 360 has been working perfectly. Since I got it last summer, there hasnt even been a single freeze, no weird noises, no disk read error messages, no heat issues. Nothing. The console was working just fine the night before. Then I went and turned it on yesterday, and BAM, out of nowhere it RROD. There was not a single sign of it dieing.
When on the phone to M$ earlier today I demanded that they give me a new(er) console and not some old sh*tty POS. I was told that wasnt a problem, but will just have to wait and see.

it will be a reman console unless you have a receipt and are under a certain amount of time from purchase.

Yeah they'll give you something thats old forsure unless you got the receipt or pay for the new one
I'm suprised i've played the hell outta mine since i got it even had a 200+ day streek which was quite sad but yeah and its still going good cept for a freeze here n there
But i agree payne totally they really need to extend the sh*t till they fix it 100% i mean my first regular xbox lasted 7 years so i'm sure they can figure it out so the sh*t works longer then a year
We should seriously make a jacket or shirt or hat or something lawlz

I was playing my OG XBOX yesterday and I had a look at the manufacture date on it, and it was from 2001. It still runs perfectly, I've never had an issue with it. Its solidly built, I've even kicked it, dropped it, hit it and it still runs fine. 360 f*ck if a butterfly lands on it it'll die.

hell mine, all i did was move it to clean and then it started to F up. then i took it to indy to play while i was at the hotel, and it was not having anything of it. stubborn F'er. i got it home, turned it on, and it was basically like, oh well im not going to do that anymore.... and then the red lights of death.

my xbox was delivered to the repair facility in texas on 9-12-08, at 8:40 pm. should have it next week sometime. or maybe this week.

btw, to update the thread and those who dont know, I got my 360 back on THursday..
I need to call M$ though and b***h the f*ck out of them because 2 seperate reps promised me I'd get a new console back, and I got a f*cking 2006-09-09 console back. I'm pretty dam sure theres some customer protection or w/e law about a company promising something and then not delivering on it. Even if there isnt, I'm still gunna call and b***h the f*ck out of them

I seem to have not said I sent the 360 I got back away again 2 weeks ago, I got another one back on Friday. This one has a 2008-6-26 manufacturing date on it, but no HDMI port which is pretty f*cked up since they started getting them from July 2007
