coupe, you wanted to know some things about this game now that I can play it. Anything specifically you want to know about the game? I dont have much to say about it atm as I havnt played it much(been playing my PS3 ) Graphically, as expected, is sub-par, although not terrible. Difficulty, I dont know if I suck, if my car is pathetic in comparison to the AI, but its pretty dam hard. Theres 2 difficulty settings, Easy and Hard. I selected Hard to start, did like a dozen races or so finishing above 5th like once lol. So I then put it down to Easy, I finally found out then how to do a proper start(its like in the MX vs ATV Unleashed think was the game where you have to hold the Clutch down and rev the engine, then as soon as the Green light goes let go of the clutch and you'll get a fast start. If you dont it'll take ages to get moving.) So I was finally able to keep up with the AI off the starting line, but it didnt help me much. On easy I'm only finishing in 2-5. finished in 1st once I believe. So even on easy the game is still pretty decently hard. I dont know how any kid or anybody who sucks at racing games would ever be able to play this game. I've pretty much, if not, fully upgraded my starting car and I still cant easily keep up with the AI. It definitely is partly due to me still learning the physics but it cant entirely be that. This is something I'll try to update as much as I can as I play the game more. Physics, its definitely more simulation then the other off-road racing games out there atm(aka DiRT) however I wouldnt call it a full racing sim. The game has a bit of a weird feel to it, but its still fun and definitely doesnt put me off wanting to play it. I remember reading a part of a review on this game before I played it, and the person said it perfectly, its going to be a complete love/hate with this game. Either you play it and you love it, or you play it and you hate it and never want to touch it again. It really sucks theres no demo for it so you cant give it a free try, but if you can I would suggest renting it to give it a go to see what you think. Would you be able to convince your parents to cover the cost of the rental? Thats what I would highly recomend you do. So I would say its a fun game and I would recomend it, but it really will be a love/hate thing.

lol well if u did'nt noticed i actully rented it and have been playing the hell out of it as already got 25/50 achivements in 2 days haha Graphic wise yeah its not up to rally sport challange or dirt but otherwise its right behind those 2 and with how the gameplay is who cares for graphics as i've said in the past i don't care if the game looked like pole postions its about gameplay not how pretty it is gez and when your truck buggey w'e your racing is going 100mph down a bumpy ass road i'm sure your gonna be looking at how nice the trees and sky are.Me personally i'm holding on for dear life trying to keep that thing straight Well i'd say its alittle of both payne hahaha cause i can play it on hard with no traction control at all and i've already beat the first 2 leagues with all golds. You just really gotta play this alot to get it down but payne if ur have problems just race easy and put full traction control.I personally love no traction as that things sideways on two wheels with me having a riot My problem is i can not find were the invetational events are i've looked all over and nothing I also had a problem with the dam starts as those were b****s but yeah you gotta use the clutch and thats not a problem. It depends on your car,the lines your pick etc you gotta race really smart with this game or eles yeah your gonna finish worse then 3rd every race as you actully gotta take ur time and learn the tracks and find the right lines and what works. For the cars you gotta try different ones i've found as i started off the first league with a crappy open wheeler finished 1st onec or twice but then i bought another one and that thing just flys for me so its all about prefference The game is actully really the most realistic off road game next to rally sport challenge i've ever played but is right up there with it.Its not 100% like a forza but its not even close to dirt or any other game in this genre. The only thing i have a hard time with is i can't figure out how to get out of the hairpins and slower turns fast and thats were the ai's keep up with me and give me a dam good race Ai wise i love this game its actully a challange for onec first ever game i played with good ai that can actully race smart and beat you. Naaaa the people who have reviewed this game are totally idiots and are only playing one or 2 races then collecting a pay check.there all praiseing pure because disney paid them $$$$$ out the ass and i wonder why cause baja is a way better game then pure. The reason there was no demo was because in the past games put out a demo and it lost them sales so they figured if no demo it might help with sales just like pure did as alot of people wanted that game then played the demo and hated it. I'm going to do some live play with it tonight or tommorow and if all go's well I will say this after christmas this game will have its own league so if your intrested pick this up This game has about 8 different race modes which is awsome. You can race the baja 1000 on it with 8 of your friends online and that race is at least 3 hours, you blow tires, gotta get the heli to come help you repaire you truck and just i love this game.Theres a free rome mode which is just amazing. You get a huge map about 10 different if i remember right and you can go anywere unlimited time and i can't imageing the games we could make in this mode. I'll list more as i play as i still have it till next monday. If anyone has any questions ask

Another quick update
The 4x4 class is quite hard,Your gonna wanna pick a smaller one so you can make your way around the other trucks easyer as these things take up alot of room,From what i've raced so far this is the hardest league and just is a b***h if you make a mistake.

Another quick update I just did the first stage of the baja 500.Some of the jumps are'nt 100% real as my buggey flys when it hits a huge one at 120mph but for the most part the jumps are mostly real The Buggeys wow first time in one so far and i love the things as there a handfull. You gotta make sure to watch yourself as you can flip them quite easy if you hit something wrong but your actully able to save the things if you know what your doing on two wheels. So yeah there alot of fun Something i've noticed and love yet again with this game is the suspensions. This is one part i can tell they really worked on and made look real and work real. The things bounch like a real one dose and go on two wheels and rotate like the real thing and i really like that.Probelly my last update for today but i'll have more tommorow forsure as i got another hour+ in the baja 500

lol i dont need no stinkin cheat code. I just need to play it more, I've only done a few races so far.
Dont you guys have 'no late fees' over there? They should do since I know the US has it everywhere, and we have it here, so I'm pretty sure all of Canada should have it(so long as theres a Blockbusters or Rogers Video at least)

i saw a video with these offroad gokart looking things, does the game have them? also are the tracks all fictional, or are there some real tracks other than the baja. the stadium trucks, are they regular corr drivers are fictional, and can you paint your vehicles? what hop ups are there, similar to world of outlaws, the game for ps2 or computer, or is it just a thing like nascar used to be, with just a few things you can do, do you have money and stuff you win from races to upgrade the trucks, are the graphics good, and do the cars handle appropriately?

I'm pretty sure there in this game i just have'nt gotten there yet.I saw small little go kart looking things in the bonus along with mini trucks.
Its really hard to tell whats real and whats fake as far as the tracks.I think some of them are real stages etc but i can't be sure.
There the real trucks that run baja, robby gordons monster energy truck, troy hurbst buggy etc but yeah alot of the trucks are real from what i've seen. You can't paint your own but you get to pick from 5-10 different paint jobs for each one.
The classes are vw buggey,Buggy open wheel,4x4,unlimited open wheel, trophey truck and theres about 4 or 5 other classes and a bonus one with alot more in it.
You can do alot,You can tune them and yeah you have to win races and money to buy the next level of truck or buggey and upgrades
The graphics i would'nt complaine about as i find it looks great and the gameplay is fun as hell i find.I keep noticeing new things like last night i noticed theres actully little bunnys and animals running across the track as your racing and i just found that cool. But you don't really notice them when your being bounched around like hell at 100 mph so like i said with the time they had to make this game and with how much there is i find it amazing.
Its not real world handeling but its not arcadey either and it really depends on what you pick also as far as traction as theres full med and none at all and each has a totally different feel to the game
From what i've seen and played you'd probelly really like this game as much as me its just sometimes you may get upset with how often the buggeys can flip as if you run them on the 100% edge you'll flip alot as there crazy and sometimes its really hard to save one but your able to save the things when you pretty much got them on the side.Hope this helps

hey, sorry, not trying to sound like an idiot, hehehe, but when I pan left from the starting point on lake powell, there's no clear view to the left of a lone hill - from the starting point the 3 smoke towers are barely in view on left side - is the lone hill further left of the smoke towers? based on the vehicle pointed straight ahead at start point, where is lone hill? 11 o'clock, 9 o'clock, etc? Sorry to be difficult, these are last two i have left..... actually found it, it's the hill off in the distance to the "right" of the truck....at about 3 o'clock - btw, your guide for the discovery locations was great, I couldn't have come close to getting this achievement without it....THANKS AGAIN! www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=96027

man, I think this is probably my favourite off-road racer of all time. Not having played RSC2 all that much I never really got into it and dont remember all that well what it was like. I just spent the last about 4 hours playing this game and I didnt want to stop I was having so much fun. I only stopped because its 4:30am Once you get a feel for the physics and understand how to control the car it is unbelievably fun. I started enjoying it alot more once I got into the 2nd group of races(Unlimited VW Buggy or something like that? Whatever is after the first VW Buggy race group...) I just 100% completed with 1st places. I've only got 2 medals in the first group of VW Buggy, the first 2 events, the events after that are hard, although now I might be able to comeplete a couple more of them. I dont have a clue how your expected to win the final event though...Its an open event where your in the sh*tty VW Bug while the other races are in cars of much higher categories, like the 4x4 Trucks and other vehicles. Your started with a few second lead, but how the f*ck your supposed to stay in 1st for 2 laps is beyond me. This is really a game you have to play and get 'into', its definitely not a game you can just pick up and play for a few mins at a time like I was doing before.
