well, after picking up some stuff, i have finally decided to expand my operation. as you know, i got out of this stuff like 3 years ago, and i have been back into it for about 2 months now. started back up with 1 truck and 1 batter and motor, now im sitting good with my old sponsor, and i have a few batteries and motors, and i just picked up a 2 wheel drive buggy. losi xxx cr. when i bought it, it was kind of beat up, kid didnt maintain it at all. well, i have completely rebuilt it, still need a couple parts, which are on order, and i need electronics for it, but the thing is sweet. i'll post pics later of it.

there a blast man, used to race those things after i got pissed off at offroad. i raced against josh cyrul a few times, got to know him, hes a cool guy, he was running for fantom at the time, and now he has his own car company, CEFX, his cars are awesome.
used to race 1/10th touring car, and 1/12th scale. damn things rip.
problem is, they require so much damn maintenance. you are constantly rebuilding the cars, diffs, bearings, etc... and you need a tire truer if you run foam tires.
had a TC3 and TC4, xray T2, Losi xxxs, and some other x ray car, cant remember the name. 1/12th scale i had a rc12l and a CRC carpet knife.
i have never broken so much sh*t in my life than when i ran onroad. it was a damn blast though, cars are so fast, and the cleanup is just blowing them off with compressed air. like i said though, they are fragile and need frequent maintenance. only bad thing.
tell ya one thing i'll never get back into - that would be nitro. one headache i dont want to get involved with again. constantly tuning them, fuel is expensive, they are messy, require frequent rebuild of the engines, and cars and engines are expensive. i think i went through a piston and sleeve about every 5 race days. ran those things full tilt and leaned out.

haha yeah i know i've been wanting a touring car for awhile now and yeah i know how they can break i just really want to get into rc racing and the only thing around is touring car as theres no gas dirt tracks in the area for a hour+.
The only problem with the nitro car so far i've had is the dam start up.The thing takes foreverrr to start its so stupid and i got a fast starter box and the sh*t don't work for some reason but yeah.
i do miss my slot car stuff but i'm one of the best in the whole area ontario & quebec and i want to try the next thing

nice, what scale is that?
oh and i need to find electronics for the buggy as well. speed control and receiver to be exact.

That'd be 1:24 scale.The track alone is 144+ feet long and it takes around 4.3 secs to get around.I have the track record on all the ones around here as theres about 4 of them in my area the same one for some reason but yeah.I can take some pics of stuff so you can see if you want

heres some quick pics i took Compaired to a 1/24th nascar  These things are a b***h to set up,still have'nt found the right set up things chatter like crazy  These would be a wing car.Goes around the track in about 2 secs and as u can see very light weight with a way fast motor   & this would be my baby,Track record holder at 4 tracks for its class   Some of the bodys ain't that pretty anymore on acount of people who can't drive n nock me off haha |
