After input from most drivers, these are the rules in which we came up with for the Seat Cupra cup.
TEAMS Up to 3 members. There will be individual points as well as team points. Please post team name and its members.
QUALIFYING There will be 3 nights during the week in which qualifying will be done. Wed, Thurs,Fri nights between 7pm and 830 pm EST You can only qualify 1 time during this period...If you don't qualify during the 3 qualifying periods, you will start at the back of the HEAT RACE, no if ands or buts. The qualifying races are 3 lap races with everyone on the track together with collisions OFF so that there is no draft.
HEAT RACES We will be drawing a number from a hat to determine how many cars will be inverted from the list of qualifying times that were recorded during the 3 week night qualifying sessions. There will be as many numbers as there was qualifiers as well as a #0 (no inversion) and a RANDOM one(sets game lobby to random start) The heat races will be 10 laps with the top 4 from each room going to the A main and the bottom 4 in B main. In the result of more than 2 full rooms, it will be top 3 in the 2 full rooms and top 2 in 3rd room. All races will be with collisions on, simulation tires and fuel,and damage on LIMITED.
Tracks we race that don't have pits will be run with damage OFF.
On nights with 2 races, the inverted qualifying start positions will be the same for BOTH races.
A B C MAINS The qualifiers from the heat races will be allocated to either A B or C mains depending on heat race finish.The field will be fully inverted for these races. These races will be either one 25 lap race or two 10 lap races. Caution flags are in effect for ALL races.If there is a crash on track that involves 2 or more cars you must call caution right away and the field will slow down to 55 MPH till everyone is caught up and the LEADER and only the LEADER will restart the field before the start /finish line the next lap around unless there are cars pitting in which the field will do another lap and restart the next time around.If there is a SINGLE car wreck in which you drive off by yourself, there is NO caution unless you are blocking the track for cars coming behind you. ALL races will be reviewed for careless driving and calling cautions where there shouldn't be one. Penalties will incur for these offenses.In the 25 lap races there will be no more cautions when the leader passes the line to start lap 23 and in the 10 lap races , no cautions after lap 8.

POINTS There will be points allocated to the top 3 qualifying times from the week night sessions 1st 5 pts 2nd 3pts and 3rd 1 pt. The fast lap from each race will recieve 5 pts. on the night with 2 races there will be full points for both races.
