current.com/items/90544139_stateline-rc-speedway-30-minute-traxxas-slash-enduro-race.htmalso ran in this race, enduro race. 30 minute race, 2 drivers, switch during race. 1 team, 1 battery change. 15 cars on the track at one time. started 9th, finished 3rd overall. top 4 cars were on the same lap seperated by 20 seconds at the end of the 30 minute race. would have ran the short course truck that i ran in the other video, but there wasnt enough entries to fill the field on the night of the race. so i raced a borrowed car, which i had 5 minutes of practice with before the race. it was a 2 day event, get there friday and practice all day, and friday night they ran the enduro for people that wanted to, then saturday was the actual race that everyone comes together for.

racing at 12 AM after a day that started at 6 AM, restless night from before with constantly waking up from the sound of a highway next to the track, plus it rained all night long, so i had no sleep, it was dark out when i raced, with minimal lighting, cant see the middle of the track well. let alone the back section. i didnt hit him twice, he tried to cut in on me middle of the race, and bounced off me when i had the line, then he tubed it. im not a wall. the last lap i tapped him because he slowed down too early, he wasnt pissed, been racing with him for a while, cool guy. trucks we were running was an short course class, like the CORR trucks. 10th scale trucks, the one i race is a associated SC10. i'll post pics of mine, but thats what it is in stock form. track was loose, no water in the mains, absolutely no traction at all. thats why it looked as bad as it did. if you watch the other races you can see everyone had problems. qualifiers, the truck was dialed in, i could run really smooth, no mistakes, and traction was awesome. but yes, i still need to work on driving, not quite up to par to where i used to be a few years ago when i quit racing. no gas cars, series is electric only.

we were there 2 days, got there 11 AM on friday, all day saturday with rain delays, got home 3 AM on sunday morning, last race i ran was at 1:15 AM sunday. website for the cars 67.199.85.166/ae/sc10/sc10_home.phpi bought mine as a roller, put in a LRP Sphere speed controller, we run spec class with them, so you have to have a 17.5 motor brushless or stock 27 turn brushed, run Fantom batteries and motors in mine of course. switched the shocks from the associated ones, to Losi truck shocks, easier to build, and there better in my opinion.

im on the other side of the state, ready to runs cost about 250 ish. mine was a roller, cost me $170. clear body comes with the roller kit, ready to runs normally have the prepainted bodies. tracks everywhere that run nitro, especially right now. summer time its huge around here. hard to find an indoor place that runs in the winter.

chassis are plastic composite, like all other chassis are made out of pretty much now. im sure they will have a factory team kit come out, where it has graphite and aluminum, but for now, thats all they offer, the truck is relatively new. a friend of mine designed and builds a chassis plate for these things, i will take a picture of it, people had alot of problems breaking chassis at the kick plate. but of all the plates he has sold, no one has yet broke a chassis with it. the track we raced at is intended for 1/8th scale cars, not 1/10th scale. jumps were way too big.

i'll check into that. if i can get it cheap i'll pick it up. money is tight right now, starting a new job monday, pays more and hopefully i will have more work, but also i need to get another personal transponder for the SC10, i need 2 batteries, another 17.5 motor, and a second battery charger. plus i need to pick up another full set of electronics for my buggy. but i may just sell it.
so far on that truck ive broken 1 front arm, and ive had to rebuild the differential in it, because associated had a problem with them, but now they have a fix for it. lasted about 10 runs last time, then it started making this nice clicking noise, that sounded like a zipper when you go around a corner on power. and it progressively got worse.
