www.forzacentral.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33049If your like me and think the c***pit view in Forza is too close to the wheel, then you'll love this bit of info showing you exactly how to adjust it to wherever you like. "by adjusting the fov levels in the multiscreen setup (worked in FM2 aswell) you can move the c***pit view back to around GT5p view or even more!, as you can see default is crappy as you cant see the side mirror and only a part of the rear view mirror, 62 degrees is pretty much perfect and 90 is way too far (you can see end of arms), also the intro to race cam is further back"

i meant this amazing "incar detail" that was so holy needed in this game,Ranks barly top 10 in my books

you try to make a game with 400 cars and do every detail perfect, and have all the tracks and scenery look amazing, can not happen with the technology that is out. you need to have a computer to even get close to that detail. maybe 4-5 years down the road when the next gen game consoles come out, but not now. you get one or the other, not all. you cant have your cake and eat it to with forza.
good find by the way. this will certainly help me out with the incar view.

I know that but the way this s*** was begged for and talked about it looks like s*** compared to all the other racing games hell even regular xbox games and thats what i'm saying as this was talked about as being one of the "best incar views" for 3 months and to me thats not top 10

what would really be nice is if you can change the interior, like add in the roll cages, and strip the interior out and go with a full on racing shell. all carbon fiber bezels, and different gauges, racing seats and steering wheel, etc..

I dont know why your having such a flip out over this coupe..The graphics on the in-car view is fantastic, is it DiRT, or Shift levels, f*ck no. But as munson has already mentioned, those games dont have anywhere near the amount of cars/tracks that this game does. There is no way in hell the XBOX 360 could support Shift type graphics with Forza 3 type content. It just cant happen. There is no other game out there, coupe, that has Forza 3 level of content and better graphics. Forza 3 has the best graphics for a racing game with this amount of content.
What more can you ask for?

Muns sorry about your post i thought i clicked quote and insted it was modify my bad =\ so part of its missing
but if the views changed when u added stuff to it i'd like that
another reason my last reply was so pissed off i spent 8 hours in a feild yesterday geting cars so yea i was alittle pissed off
Its not a "flip" payne just as i said the way this was talked of being the best in everything and it don't beat most thats what i'm annoyed about
But you said my problem right there "best graphics for a racer" as this game from what i saw in the demo etc etc they just went for that insted of gameplay and thats whats annoying me and how would'nt they have room as its 2 discs now and i could care less about graphics as i rather gamerplay f*ck i'd play pole position graphics all day if the game was good yo
One thing i don't get is how are we gonna be able to use all our cars on one disc say if its on the other disc but we'll see when we get there
and best graphics for a racer goes to grid from my point of view

as has already been stated, you have to install disk 2 to your HDD in order to gain access to its contents. When you first put Forza 3 in, you will be prompted to do this.

Its almost like Turn 10 slowed down the gameplay so you COULD (not that you should) take a look around and admire the graphics...When I race I focus on where I'm going to/want to be and that sure as F isn't the side of a mountain!...Once again I thought the physics were par for Turn 10 which means anything more than 20% input on the wheel and its PLOWING like a freeking dumptruck...
The easiest way to put this debate to bed is simply stated as: Those who are hardcore seek out games like Race Pro, those who cannot afford to build cars in real life (either that or they have no skills) choose Forza...
Those guys can keep their 4 speed cars (Forza never heard of torque multiplication), all their assists and their fancy little paintjobs...Funny how those painters try to immulate race liveries on streetcars...
Maybe the problem is that I own too many "Forza style" cars?...Why didn't Turn 10 go EVEN MORE towards Midnight Club?...
Instead of rating this with my thubs up or down I'll just use one of my fingers...This brand/label seems to promote more fantasy than actual racing...
I'll get off my soapbox now...

Yes I am flaming the 4 speeds...BUT only in video games...Quite a bit of my driving prowess comes behind the wheel of 2 speed cars believe it or not...High-Low..I'll let you figure out what I'd be driving a 2 speed in or on for that matter... What I hate (and am reffering to) is the guys who would take a Ferrari and demote it to a 4 speed yet the TQ multi. would make it faster than the same car in 6 speed...That would NEVER happen in real life...Well it could happen but only if the final drive was so low that after 4th the car would be at about 100mph and 10K on the tach... My drag Mustang has 2 gear sets High 4 rounds and low 5. rounds...That is 1320 feet with the use of 5 gears and a rev limit of about 9800rpm and a trap of roughly 143-147mph...If I reduced the final to "normal" levels my trans ratio would be inept at propelling the car in forward gear, might work in reverse but I'd prolly reach something like 60mph... I'd have to say (for an answer Munson) that I'm bashing former 6 speeds...Dunno how else to say it?...Old Rock crushers and newer dogboxes are quite fun all though the latter isn't a perfect science its a step towards full "sequentialism"...I hate that little pedal to the left, SMG baby!

ill take the days of power glides and turbo 350's. power glide is the preferred weapon of choice on a drag strip. and i will be using either a 2 speed or a 3 speed setup out of a 4 or 6 speed in the game for drag racing.
but yes i do agree with you, it pisses me off when people do this. im guilty of it though on some cars and some tracks. just have to do what you have to do to get the car in the powerband that works the best for what your doing.
hopefully they make the drag strip realistic. i know they wont but its a nice thought. at least have it where a muscle car gets traction. im sorry but i dont have traction problems on the strip, and im sure you dont either. then again we dont run street tires, but still, no reason why a 700 hp car has to spin the tires until 150 mph in the game. not realistic.

Actually, I have gone WICKED fast on REAL street tires...Not ETs or DRs but regular ole Eagle F1s (18psi rear)..Went 9.89 @ 142 on the squeeze from about the 60'...Did that in my roadrace car!...

nice. and even still i bet you didnt loose traction. thats what im saying, the game thinks if you have a stock v8 with rear wheel drive, it will annihilate the tires. its just rediculous in my opinion. eagle F1's hook pretty good, come stock on vettes, they are a pretty sticky tire, at least from what i have seen.
the camaro has 10.5 mickey thompson ET streets on it. old car had 14" goodyear slicks on it, tubbed, full cage 12 or 14 point, cant remember.
wish i had the time and money to build cars all day, not enough room, and job gets in the way. barely have enough time for my xbox, let alone my camaro.

Of course I didn't loose traction...If I lost traction that means I'm a sh!tty driver...Who needs a stall convertor?...Believe it or not I was built with a factory stall convertor called my left foot!...In the words of the Beach Boys "To get the traction I'm slipping the clutch, my pressure plates burning my machines too much"..."Pedal to the floor hear the dual quads ring"...HAHAHA...Everybody now..."And now my 413 is really starting to sing"... Sorry about the rubber...They aren't F1s...Those aren't enough tire for that car...I run the F1s on my DD Volvo T-5R...I have the GS-Cs from Goodyear on the Mule (my Mustangs name"... My wife's uncle has a pretty bad Camaro, '70-'71 SB IIRC...Streetcar but still fairly quick and VERY PRETTY...Hard to beat a classic in the looks department!...

Well on the topic of setups, unless your in a private match you can't use them online in forza 3 against anyone besides friends,Thought i'd say that while you guys said that. G@Y!!!!!!!!!!...Auto Racing is ALL ABOUT the capabilitiy of the tuner...Thats why there are these things you fall into after running thru tech called (follow me now Turn 10 cause its a new word) "Classifications"...I understand that you (T10) understand classifications in terms of the physical bits but in racing its all about what you CAN'T see that seperates the men from the boys... It's almost like T10 is promoting NAMBLA by removing all the heavy hitters and forcing them to work their way up using the afore mentioned "boys" as the wrungs of their ladder...HA!... I would have hoped for perimeters on certain touches like the 4 speeds and SUPER stiff sus. settings that would NEVER work in the real world BUT again we're talking about wh*res to the almighty dollar...Why spend the time rewriting that file, we'll just remove it and pile more worthless crap into this brand that we'll advertise...Notice how you need only have the game for an hour to realize what a steaming pile it truely is?...

I dont have Forza 3 yet, but as far as I now from talking to friends who have the game, the only place you cannot use setups is in the Time Trials section of the game, where your in a predetermined car on a certain track. As far as I know, everywhere else you can use setups.
I cannot 100% confirm this yet untill I get the game though, however I'm 99% sure this is how it is.
