This is the OFFICIAL STATEMENT: Since the DUMPING of my career from SIMBIN's wonderful bug I am WITHDRAWING my entry in the GTC league...I'll be focusing all my energy on getting the format for the Masters season worked out..I'l be doing testing (for those who want to join) on the quali format as well as the race starts (standing or rolling)...I will compile a track schedule (no street courses sorry my African warrior friend) Good news about the Masters is they're DLC so we don't have to worry about the dumping career issue...I would like to do run the Masters season in duality with the remainder of the GTC season... LMK what nights are good for EVERYONE who gonna join the Masters season... In case anyone doesnt know, if you sign in at the dashboard before starting RacePro then your career will be safe. This means you must turn off the auto-play function so that the when you start your box it goes to dashboard and doesnt start the game disc. Ive lost my career countless times, but since I started this never have I lost if again. |

Out of ALL the NIGHTS of the WEEK which work best for everyone?...Can anyone race on Saturday night?...Friday night?...Late?...Like 1AM ish?...What about Monday nights or Tuesday even?...
Can we push the time BACK to like 9pm on Sundays for some of the other racers?...
I would appreciate everyone checking in on this ...Just gimme a day and time that works BEST for you!...Everyone has WAY different schedules...
I wouldn't mind a Friday night race but I don't know how that works for everyone who may have to work on Saturdays...
Just gimme some input please cause I wanna race...

IM good really any day after 12pm but Ive tried to alter my schedule on Sunday to race at 9pm. What ever works best for you guys I just want a full grid!!

I could do midnight eastern also, but only on Fri, and Sat nights.

Well my African Warrior friend you are the one who I was trying to move the schedule around for...BUT if you've got it under control then theres no need to change the time...Sundays work best for me cause I ain't gotta do sh!t on Sunday...
So scratch the timeframe question I guess..

Weve only got 6 confirmed drivers though, come on everyone this will be good fun with rolling starts and knockout Qualifies.
Id like to propose an official Practice session on like FRi or Sat. night Like F1 free practice etc...
THis would help some of the guys who dont run setups, Im sure most of us dont mind sharing knowledge..

This season cannot progress unles we do some testing on the quali & race format...This Sunday after the race we had THREE, yes ONLY THREE people showed up...I forgive Bounty cause he didn't have the DLC but his heart was in it...
Maybe this Sunday we can ALL get together and do some testing huh?...

I would GREATLY prefer people to be in the ENTIRE season w/o missing any races...I only say that because as it looks we'll only be running one room...Since many people from the GTC league aren't too fond of the Masters... TBH, the outlook for the Masters season is grimm...There are what, 6 people registered or at least have declared their intent to join... If we're struggling to get racers I can only imagine how many will not show up on Sundays... I know you're fast, I know you're a great racer who is clean and executes sportsmanship with the best of 'em...If we can't FILL a room then we'll certainly welcome those who want to race on a week by week basis... |

Im stilil trying to pull some guys in from my friends list, the biggest problem as always are time zone issues(why cant the earth be flat). THis always seems to be the biggest problem with organizing a race or league.
I had a question when do you guys plan on staritng running this?

Won't be til after the GTC League since we're gonna run on Sunday...
BTW, even if the earth was flat wouldn't there still be time zones?...I think if the earth was flat the sun would have to just "turn on" like a lightbulb and NOT MOVE to eliminate time zones... ;D

Id be down for Monday or Tuesday and also I think a 1 hour delay on the start would help some of the west coast guys out! Im getting excited for the masters only 2 club races left.

Yo guys, can we maybe do a couple of miles less? 200 seems an awful lot to me. Perhaps even make it 2 shorter races instead of one 200 mile one!

I set it up like @ 185 miles on the feature race so we have an opportunity to pull some pit strategy...
Spa for example: The first pit will come between lap 6 and lap 9...Then its another 14 laps before your next stop...Add 14 more laps on that and you get to lap 35..Total laps for Spa is 42...If one tunes their car right and runs a strategic race they "could" make the fuel last til the end as long as they still have some rubber left...
Maybe we can make an adjustment to the race length after one or two races...
The race schedule as it sits is for one sprint race at 20 miles and one feature race @ 185 miles...You won't be running 200 miles in one sitting...

Merry Christmas guys, I was supposed to put this up a few days ago then I got drunk xmas eve & Xmas day...& boxing day but now i'm not so here we go...
After several chats with other leguers there's been some chat around about running WTCC Extremes instead of the Masters so I just wanted to put it out there so we can have a bit of a vote. I've had a chat to Will about it & he's happy to do so as long as everyone else is. The whole session set up wouldn't change depending on their fuel consumption which Ill check very soon. The race wouldn't take quite as long because of pure lap speed, other than that, identical.
The pros & cons from our brief chats are that the Extremes are in career, not DLC hence there is a chance you'll lose the career although I'm not sure this has happened much lately. Extremes are trickier to drive but they're also easier to overtake, the one thing about the Masters on semi-pro is their braking areas are so small that there Will be tears (no pun intended).
Will's put alot of thought & effort into the Masters series & it shows so I don't see any point changing the structure. And if you guys want to stay with the Masters it's fine by me but we thought it best to throw this out there & see what you all thought.
Now the voting will work as follows;
If you want to race the Extremes then get out of your chair & do some interpretive dance to Whitney Houston for 3 minutes.
If you want to do Masters then lick your computer screen in a anti-clockwise direction.
Actually it's probably best if you just post your thoughts here instead.

While I still want to run the masters extremes I hear are the best class in the game(never driven em though myself).
I was thinking maybe we could alternate race weekends, b/c Id love to run both, I know it would make for a really long season.
One more thing why r we even running Semi-Pro, I think running on Pro for these cars ups the challenge alot more?

We're gonna run semi cause believe it or not some people do use asists of one sort or another...You know me 7, I'd be down for a no-assist season but we don't want to aliente anyone from running in this season...
I'm also good for the extremes...Just gota put some time onto the carrer once again to unlock them...Then go out and get a memory card...
I dunno about running both at once, that would be ROUGH!...I think I might check out the Forza season so racing 3 seasons would be hard..

Hi, i might be interested in joining this. Im new to the forums just joined today but am looking to get back into race pro. It would depend on when it was run (Im Aust gmt+10) but i see Annan your from brisbane which is pretty much where im from (Sunshine Coast). I havent run league racing before so i would have to learn a few things but i would be up for it if your still on the look out for players.
edit: ok just saw the other sign up thread and you have 10. thats fine i doubt the time would of suited me for 9 weeks anyways. monday 8pm is about midday tuesday for me i think so i would have had a conflict somewhere along the line. cheers

Message to everyone who plans to race this series, srry for the delay were just trying to work out some schedule conflicts.
But we do intend to run this series probally at the start of the F1 season(almost here FTW), or maybe after the Forza A-class championship.
Please stick around and Ill post the official start date shortly!
