First of all we need to define who should NEVER EVER even try to play this game. Why? Because Race PRO is a RACING simulation game. And by saying RACING we automatically eliminate that mutant bad taste low class thing that is drifting. So if you are into drifting, this game is NOT for you. For the pseudo race fans that spend 3X more game-time painting liveries on and auctioning their cars in FM2 run AWAY from Race Pro. Arcade racers that think that the surreal fantasy racing games like PGR, NFS, GRID and stuff like that are "realistic", please keep your distance from this game. Finally, if you do not own a MS Wheel or a Fanatec Wheel with FF, ignore Race Pro.
If you survived the natural selection of the above paragraph you will find in Race Pro a new nirvana. Like it's ancestors on the PC, the GTR series, Race PRO is all about rubber on the tarmac. F... the user interface, F... stupid storylines in a racing game, F... fancy graphics, F... collecting 1,134 different cars and playing "pimp my ride" more often than "Win all racing".
Like boneless wings, Race Pro brings a lot less weight on the package but it's 100% meat. No bones. And the meat is simply, the BEST EVER ON CONSOLES. Period. It makes FM2 and GT5P think they are Burnout Paradise.
So enough talking. If 100% grade A beef is what you looking for, put this in your Q. If you think that driving sideways like a Japanese freak is "dabomb", prefers to spend 90% of your time with a racing game playing outside of the tracks/mechanics garage, Thinks GT5P is ultra-realistic "because it looks realistic" and don't understand what the heck those grease monkeys are talking about when they go off about improving your "breaking points", hit the "apex" and "do not spin wheels out of it" , adjust your "turn Speed", DO NOT put this game into your Q, you are not worthy of it.

WOW, breaded. It almost sounds as if you're trying to alienate people. Almost as if it is an us verses them mentality.
Is it impossible to enjoy several types of racing games? Is it impossible to compete within the parameters of a game and still race and enjoy competition?
Yeah, I get it it about drifting but that doesn't make me want to race with anyone any less in Race Pro. Also, NFS PGR and Grid are completely unrealistic, but I dont care what people race, so long as they want to race with us.

Yeah that's quite the conceded review. So people that play Race Pro are better than other people because they like another game? I agree with brandit, it's okay to enjoy some games regardless of whether or not it's as realistic. I hate NASCAR but my God I would never look down on someone that does enjoy it, it's preference. To demean someone because they do not share the same opinion you do is well...

Saw this review on Gamefly.com and thought id post it to see what other people thought about the review. Ive seen ALOT of reviews for RP and this one seems to stand out more than the others. I think you should ask the author of this review if he is trying to alienate people. I dont look down on what games people play..thats not me. Each to their own

ITs NOT alienation dammit...Its a STATEMENT about the difficulty level...The no frills all thrills spectrum of SIMULATION driving...This is a review that speaks VOLUMES to me...A review isn't necessarily a bash as much as an opportunity to boast about the depth of the game...
I see this review as a plus for the sim guys...All too often people are trying to compare a GAME to a SIM...Thats like the Ford vs. Chevy...People who like Ford taut the Mustang, Chevy guys will ALWAYS revert to the Vette...As if they're even in the same class...Plain and simple; The Mustang (and its PONYCAR class) are the originator just as RP is the orginator of SIM on a console...
Games can sometimes be MORE fun than a SIM cause its just that, a GAME...I don't have much fun running SIMs...I run SIMs for the competition...I tend to stay away from GAMES (racing) cause fiction isn't much fun...
I think it was a good review that compared racing:racing...F3 should be picked apart for the fact that the creator called it the ultimate racing simulator...Keeping with that, all the Mustang guys that call their cars "sports cars" should have their head examined by the DR I wanna send the F3 creator to...
Get my point?...

Dude, take a chill pill, I , like many others are going to continue to enjoy many types of racing games. Some of us will be moderately successful, even in a simulation game.

HA!...You're funny Brandit...
Thats escentially what I was pointing at...Doesn't matter what game you play AS LONG AS YOU KNOW what to expect by the or from the manufacturer/developer...
TBH, I wish there was an F1 game with Turn 10 "options/frills" with EA/NASCAR franchising and GT graphics with RP physics...
You fall in ONE of those categories when you select which game gets played tonight...
The end of my previous post was just a bit of emotion regarding those who boast about their good before they've even been tested, beta doesn't count...
