new setup

yesterday i went out and bought a new TV, and blu ray player.

bought a 46" sony bravia V5100.

pretty neat, you can go online with it supposedly and watch movies on demand.

and also got one of these -

all that plus a 5 year warranty on the tv for around 1200.

awesome. This your first HDTV, or did you have 1 before this?

Sony Bravias are awesome TVs, have 1 in my living room. Use a Samsung for my gaming though.

first HDTV. been using a 27" sharp CRT for about the past 8 years. which has had no problems, but its 2009, time to get with the program here. this thing will work phenominally for what im going to do with it.

cant wait until i get the thing here and hooked up, will take a couple days, but i still need to find space for it, and get cables for it. probably have it set up in a couple weeks. no point of rushing it.

i have to get a new wall unit, or a wall mount, as the one i currently am using is outdated, and wont fit a 46 inch tv. probably be a wall mount and then a table style setup to house all the other stuff, Xbox, surround sound, blu ray player etc...

Only new thing I've got in my setup recently is the FANATEC Porsche 911 Turbo S Wheel I've yet to get pictures. When I finally mount the dam thing I'll do that

just bought a 32 inch sylvania LCD TV for the girlfriends house. $299. couldnt pass it up. picture is incredible for what it is. will be getting a bluray player for her house tomorrow. damn i love black friday.
