autoclutch?
its an automatic, 2 speed, not controlled by computer, i have to shift it, floor it and throw it into second gear. has a trans brake on it as well. and for the ignition it has a 2 step module.
basically what all that does is, you get up to the line, put it in first gear, press the big redbutton and hold it while your staged and ready to go. then you hold the button down, and nail the gas, hold it wide open. the trans brake holds the car still until you release the button. at the same time that all this is going on, it has a ignition module that has a chip set at 4600 rpms, you while you have it full throttle, the module disables spark to cylinders, its basically a rev limiter. it keeps the engine at whatever you set it to with the chip, i have a 4600 rpm so when you release the button you are at 4600 rpms, and full throttle.
why people use this consistancy consistant launch speeds you launch at 4600 rpms and you dont have to worry about holding the gas and brake to get a high rev launch like with most automatics and you dont have to drop the clutch like you do with an manual. shift time and inconsistant clutch launches wont win on a drag strip.
no matter what you do you will never be as consistant with a manual as you would with a automatic.
the black button on the shifter is line lock. you get in the burnout box, hold the button and pump the brakes. what this does is load the front brakes, and it holds the car still while you can spin the rear tires. thats how people get massive burnouts. you have to do burnouts to get the tires warm and sticky. with the 14 inch wide slicks i have on my car i have to do a big ass burnout. the button holds the front brakes on until you release it. its similar to the trans brake but it only holds the front tires. the trans brake holds the driveline.

yeah its pretty nice, were kind of the hillbillies of the neighborhood, with a race car and what not, everyone that lives in the area is business people and white collar.
i want my damn room downstairs finished, ive got it wired for surround sound and i have it wired for a plasma screen. high speed built in and ethernet. i dont want wires running around everywhere, have it all built inside the walls.
mello yello car, i fell in love with that damn thing when i was about 6 years old, i like kyle petty, hes a cool dude, nice guy in person to. his son adam which was killed at loudon came to our local race track and ran latemodel. got his autograph and kyles on a hat, now i need richards. if anyone knows where i can find a fully detailed 1/18th scale mello yello car or a coors light car that was driven by petty let me know. i want one realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly badly.
no the camaro is not striped, just got a big ass red slash on the side. looks better up close. i didnt paint it, not exactly the best looking car in the world, but if i keep it it will be black or red. probably with flames on it.
