655MBs - give or take the odd byte - worth of EA's latest NFS game Words: Stuart Bishop, CVG UK
A demo of EA's Need for Speed ProStreet has zipped onto Xbox Live. Vrrrroooom.
"Compete at the highest level of street racing. Experience the intense rivalry of Grip Racing and prove yourself in the all-new Speed Challenge - the ultimate test of speed and control," says Major Nelson in his blog post on the demo.
It weighs in at 654.64 MB.
The same high-speed thrills of previous NFS games remains intact in ProStreet, only this time the game has extra layers of optional depth for more hardcore players who like little more than a quick pedal-to-the-metal thrash-about.
You guys can all finally play the game! ;D

i was pretty disapointed in the demo once i played it..You get 1 Grip Race, and 1 Speed Challenge, you are given a car for the Grip Race(GT-R) and you are given a car for the Speed Challenge(some BMW) Thats pathetic in comparison to whats available in the full game.
It was nice to get to see some of the changes theyve made since i last playtested it. They fixed the shadow glitch, and made it so Light Damage isnt so easy to get anymore which is good. Other glitches i'll have to wait for another playtest or when the game comes out to see if they fixed. Also something that wasnt a glitch that i just hope they took my opinion on(and many others)
